Five years later, Air Similan is celebrating more than just an anniversary. It is honoring a journey built with precision, consistency, and dedication. From assembling a coherent fleet and gradually expanding its network to implementing realistic operational procedures and modernizing internal tools—including a complete overhaul of its Intranet—every development has been driven by a pursuit of consistency and excellence.

In a virtual environment often marked by excess, Air Similan has chosen a different path—one of controlled growth, a strong commitment to realism, and unwavering professionalism. Its deliberately focused network, passenger-oriented destination planning, standardized fleet, and refined yet rigorous communications all reflect this philosophy. The numbers speak for themselves: nearly 3,000 Air Similan flights completed, totaling 6,000 flight hours—the equivalent of circling the globe over 100 times. Over five years, the airline has served 140 airports across the globe, from major European capitals to remote Pacific islands.

An Exclusive Livery to Mark the Occasion

To commemorate this milestone, Air Similan today unveils a special anniversary livery, featured on its newest Airbus A320-200, F-MFEJ, named “Nancy”. Combining elegance, simplicity, and a strong alignment with the airline’s identity, the “5 years of Air Similan” livery represents five years of passion, precision, and growth. Now available in simulator, it invites every pilot to showcase it proudly in celebration of this historic moment.

A Special Tour Honoring Iconic Routes

The airline is also launching a special event for its pilot community, open from May 1 to August 31, 2025. This anniversary tour will highlight the most iconic domestic French routes in the network, departing from the hubs of Paris-CDG/ORY and Nice.

Participants are invited to complete five round trips (ten flights total), in a set sequence, with complete flexibility regarding the pace of execution. This format allows pilots to revisit the early days of Air Similan and rediscover the roots of its network. Pilots who complete the full tour will be awarded a commemorative badge recognizing their participation.
