Air Similan Introduces Air Similan Tracker, Its Custom-Built Flight Tracking Tool

Six years after its founding, the virtual airline reaches a decisive new milestone in its history with the unveiling of Air Similan Tracker: its first tracking tool developed entirely in-house, purpose-built for its pilots.
Air Similan Tracker: The Next-Generation Flight Tracking Tool
Developed exclusively for the airline's pilots, Air Similan Tracker will operate natively with Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020 and 2024), requiring no additional software or third-party tools. Built from the ground up, this tracker represents a true break from the third-party tracking solutions the airline has relied upon until now. Lightweight, optimized, intuitive, and fully integrated into the Air Similan ecosystem, it has been designed to deliver a seamless, consistent, and uncompromising pilot experience, serving as a direct extension of the Air Similan Intranet.
With Air Similan Tracker, the airline takes a significant step forward in the quality and accuracy of its flight reports. Trajectory data will be far more precise than what was previously achievable. In terms of information gathered, the tracker will collect an unprecedented volume and quality of data, enabling the delivery of comprehensive, in-depth flight reports for every pilot. The goal is clear: to provide pilots with increasingly advanced reports that foster ongoing growth and continuous improvement.
Air Similan has made a deliberate decision to focus development of this tool exclusively on Microsoft Flight Simulator, today the most widely used flight simulation platform. This approach ensures native integration and maximum accuracy. Third-party tracking solutions currently supported by Air Similan will, however, remain available for pilots flying on FSX, Prepar3D, and X-Plane. The Air Similan Intranet will continue to support these tools in parallel for pilots not operating on Flight Simulator.

Deployment Timeline
Air Similan Tracker has already entered its internal testing phase. A beta version will soon be rolled out to a limited group of pilots. Select pilots, chosen for their loyalty and commitment to the airline, will be invited to experience the tool ahead of its official release and share their feedback, in advance of a phased airline-wide rollout scheduled for the course of 2026.
