Cookie Policy
Introduction
This policy aims to provide clear, simple, and comprehensive information to users regarding the use of cookies by Air Similan.
This policy may be updated at any time by Air Similan. Any changes take effect as soon as they are published and are deemed accepted, without reservation, by anyone accessing the website after their publication.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser. It allows various types of information to be saved — for example, recognizing you on future visits, personalizing your experience by remembering your preferences and browsing habits, speeding up navigation, or collecting statistical data.
Cookies are useful because they help websites operate more efficiently and in line with your preferences. They also enable us to improve our services based on the information collected.
What types of cookies do we use?
At Air Similan, we use three categories of cookies:
Essential cookies: These cookies are necessary for the website and its services to function properly. They enable core features (such as account login, language settings, etc.). Removing or blocking them will prevent the website from working as intended. These cookies cannot be disabled.
Preference cookies: These cookies remember your choices and settings (such as personalization) to tailor website content to your preferences. Disabling them may limit certain features and cause some pages to display incorrectly.
Analytics cookies: These cookies collect anonymous data for analysis (audience measurement, browsing paths, time spent on pages, click locations, etc.). They help us identify issues and improve your experience. They are not essential for the website to function and can be disabled without significantly affecting your browsing.
Origin of the cookies we use
The cookies used on Air Similan may be internal (from our own website) or provided by third-party services:
Google Analytics: An analytics solution provided by Google to measure traffic and optimize navigation.
Google reCAPTCHA: A security service designed to distinguish between human users and bots.
Google Maps: An interactive mapping service used to display maps and locations (for example, routes or points of interest).
Google Forms: An online form service used to collect information (such as surveys or registrations). Associated cookies ensure proper operation and security of the forms.
YouTube: A video hosting service that allows multimedia content to be embedded on the website. Cookies related to YouTube may be set when viewing embedded videos.
Managing your cookie preferences
You have several options to manage your choices:
Via the cookie banner: On your first visit, you can accept or refuse the use of cookies (except for essential cookies).
Through your browser settings: Most browsers are set by default to accept cookies. However, you can adjust your settings to accept or reject all cookies, decide on a case-by-case basis, or be notified before a cookie is installed.
